HOW IT WORKS
System Platon, a tough, waterproof, dimpled plastic membrane,
holds wet soil 1/4" away from the foundation wall. The air
gap thus formed eliminates water pressure on the wall so even
large cracks behind the membrane won't leak. If punctured, water
finding its way past the membrane flows to the footing drain,
not into the basement.
As an added benefit, basement moisture condenses on the back
of the Platon membrane and drops to the footing drain for removal.
